International Patients
Structured, multilingual support for international patients – from remote second opinion to in-person surgery and long-term video follow-up.
How it works
You don't need to travel to get a first opinion. We start remotely and only ask you to travel when it makes clinical sense.
Send us your imaging (MRI, X-rays), reports and previous treatment history by email or secure file transfer. We review and respond within 48 hours with an initial clinical assessment.
A structured video consultation with Dr. Mosafer – in English, Arabic or Farsi. We review your case in detail, discuss options and give you a written summary. No travel required for this step.
If surgery or in-person examination is needed, we coordinate your appointment, assist with logistics planning and ensure everything is prepared for your arrival.
Surgery at Klinikum Traunstein (from July 2026). Typical hospital stay 5–10 days depending on procedure. We coordinate your care team, interpreter support and discharge planning.
After you return home, we continue structured follow-up via video. You send imaging digitally; we review and provide written reports. No need to travel for routine check-ups.
What we treat
Scoliosis
Second opinion on surgery recommendation, VBT assessment, MAGEC evaluation, or postoperative follow-up after surgery abroad.
Spine surgery
Conservative vs. surgical decision-making, minimally invasive options, revision after previous surgery elsewhere.
Revision
Patients with persistent symptoms after spinal surgery seek an independent assessment and revision if indicated.
Logistics
Mosafer Spine, Rosenheim – 60 km southeast of Munich, easily reachable from Munich Airport (MUC) by train or car.
Dr. Mosafer speaks English, Arabic and Farsi fluently. Written reports can be issued in English.
International patients are treated on a private/self-pay basis. We issue detailed cost estimates in advance. We work with international insurance companies and can provide necessary documentation for reimbursement claims.
We can provide invitation letters and medical documentation to support your visa application for Germany.
